Prem's Spices Bay Leaf is an aromatic leaf that comes from the Mediterranean Laurel tree, commonly used in a wide variety of cuisines from around the world, from European to Indian. It is usually added whole into dishes to impart their savoury, aromatic, herby flavour, and removed just before serving.
Cooking Suggestions: You can incorporate them into any dish that is cooked slowly, like stews, soups, braises, sauces, casseroles or dried beans. You probably only need to use one or two leaves per dish, since the aromatic compounds spread throughout the dish.
Bay leaves are also commonly used in marinades for meat and fish, added to boiling water to cook seafood like crab and shrimp, and used in pickling solutions. In addition, bay leaves are also added to the cream mixture for rice pudding, infusing the dessert with a subtle herbal flavour.

Gourmet World Foods uses Australia Post, Couriers Please and Aramex delivery service. The minimum shipping cost for a standard delivery service is $10.60. The average shipping cost for a Large Parcel Box is $20.05. The exact cost depends on the order destination as well as its weight and volume. The shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout and the different costs per service options are also shown at checkout to be selected before payment (Standard or Express Service).
About Australia wide Deliveries: All our products are shipped from our facilities in NSW, Australia. We use a range of carriers, depending on your location and date of order (mainly Australia Post, Couriers Please and Aramex).
-Australia Post and Aramex make one attempt to deliver the parcel. If you are not at home and the delivery attempt is unsuccessful, then you can pick up the parcel from a collection point (your nearest Post office or Aramex local designated collection point).
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND DELIVERIES:
Apart from Australia, we only ship orders to New Zealand and the United States. International shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout and it depends on weight, volume and destination.
