Prem's Spices Ground Cloves, also known as Lavang, has an intensely hot and fruity aroma that can overpower any dish. Ground Cloves have an exceptionally potent flavour that is sweet, minty, and piquant with slight bitterness.
Ground Cloves are made by grinding the dried unopened flower buds of a tropical evergreen tree in the myrtle family. Cloves are a key ingredient in many different spice mixes, including garam masala, chai, Chinese five-spice, and pumpkin spice.
Cooking Suggestions: Ground Cloves can be used in sweet spice blends for cakes and fruit as well as pickles, preserved meats and curries. In Europe and the US is commonly used to flavour pies, cookies, cakes, mincemeat, and wassail, a warm alcoholic beverage. Ground Cloves are also the key ingredient in many sauces such as BBQ Sauce, Worcestershire Sauce, cocktail sauce or ketchup. Cloves are used in a wide array of cuisines for different popular dishes: From Vietnamese pho broth to German braised red cabbage or added to cakes, biscuits and fruit puddings for a delicious spiced flavour.

Gourmet World Foods uses Australia Post, Couriers Please and Aramex delivery service. The minimum shipping cost for a standard delivery service is $10.60. The average shipping cost for a Large Parcel Box is $20.05. The exact cost depends on the order destination as well as its weight and volume. The shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout and the different costs per service options are also shown at checkout to be selected before payment (Standard or Express Service).
About Australia wide Deliveries: All our products are shipped from our facilities in NSW, Australia. We use a range of carriers, depending on your location and date of order (mainly Australia Post, Couriers Please and Aramex).
-Australia Post and Aramex make one attempt to deliver the parcel. If you are not at home and the delivery attempt is unsuccessful, then you can pick up the parcel from a collection point (your nearest Post office or Aramex local designated collection point).
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND DELIVERIES:
Apart from Australia, we only ship orders to New Zealand and the United States. International shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout and it depends on weight, volume and destination.
