Prem's Spices Nigella seeds are used in Indian, Middle Eastern and North African cuisines. It's slightly bitter and aromatic and is used in breads and pastries adding a little crunch and ground for curries and soups. Nigella has wonderful and countless health benefits. It belongs to the buttercup family of flowering plants and is also referred to as black onion, black cumin seed or Kalonji.
Cooking Suggestions: Nigella seeds can add an herby-oniony flavour to all sorts of dishes. Try sprinkling them over salad, vegetables (potato dishes especially), or fish or adding them to rice pilaf, lentils, and chicken or lamb braises. Add these oniony, aromatic seeds to everything from baked goods to potatoes, pilaf, and braises.

Gourmet World Foods uses Australia Post, Couriers Please and Aramex delivery service. The minimum shipping cost for a standard delivery service is $10.60. The average shipping cost for a Large Parcel Box is $20.05. The exact cost depends on the order destination as well as its weight and volume. The shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout and the different costs per service options are also shown at checkout to be selected before payment (Standard or Express Service).
About Australia wide Deliveries: All our products are shipped from our facilities in NSW, Australia. We use a range of carriers, depending on your location and date of order (mainly Australia Post, Couriers Please and Aramex).
-Australia Post and Aramex make one attempt to deliver the parcel. If you are not at home and the delivery attempt is unsuccessful, then you can pick up the parcel from a collection point (your nearest Post office or Aramex local designated collection point).
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND DELIVERIES:
Apart from Australia, we only ship orders to New Zealand and the United States. International shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout and it depends on weight, volume and destination.
