Prem's Spices Cassia Cinnamon Sticks are harvested from the bark of the evergreen Cinnamon tree. Cassia Cinnamon variety is native to Vietnam, Southern Bangladesh, China, India and Uganda.
In general terms, Cinnamon has a warm, sweet flavour and pungent aroma. However, Cassia Cinnamon, also known as Chinese Cinnamon, has a stronger flavour than the more subtle Ceylon cinnamon, which can have floral notes.
Cooking Suggestions: Cassia Cinnamon sticks can be added during the cooking process of both sweet and savoury dishes to spread the flavour and then remove before serving. They are ideal to prepare Biryani or curries with strong flavour. Also perfect for hot cocoa drinks or to flavour all type of desserts.

Gourmet World Foods uses Australia Post, Couriers Please and Aramex delivery service. The minimum shipping cost for a standard delivery service is $10.60. The average shipping cost for a Large Parcel Box is $20.05. The exact cost depends on the order destination as well as its weight and volume. The shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout and the different costs per service options are also shown at checkout to be selected before payment (Standard or Express Service).
About Australia wide Deliveries: All our products are shipped from our facilities in NSW, Australia. We use a range of carriers, depending on your location and date of order (mainly Australia Post, Couriers Please and Aramex).
-Australia Post and Aramex make one attempt to deliver the parcel. If you are not at home and the delivery attempt is unsuccessful, then you can pick up the parcel from a collection point (your nearest Post office or Aramex local designated collection point).
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND DELIVERIES:
Apart from Australia, we only ship orders to New Zealand and the United States. International shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout and it depends on weight, volume and destination.
