Manuka Honey: The Manuka bush Leptospermum scoparium is found in remote parts of Tasmania and New Zealand. Manuka honey has long been reputed for its antibacterial properties. Indeed, in 2006, the naturally occurring compound, Methylglyoxal, was identified as the dominant antibacterial constituent of Manuka honey. Blue Hills Honey takes great care to ensure the purity of our Manuka honey.
Leatherwood Honey: The wild rainforests of Tasmania are the only place in the world where the rare Leatherwood tree (Eucryphia lucida) grows. Since 1955, Blue Hills Honey has had the privilege of sourcing this highly sought after honey from the heart of the Tarkine wilderness, an area known for its ancient forests and the world’s cleanest air and water.
The strong, earthy flavour of Manuka, marries perfectly with the Leatherwood’s spicy, “rainforest” flavours.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERIES FOR AUSTRALIA WIDE ORDERS:
Gourmet World Foods uses Australia Post, Couriers Please and Aramex delivery service. The minimum shipping cost for a standard delivery service is $10.60. The average shipping cost for a Large Parcel Box is $20.05. The exact cost depends on the order destination as well as its weight and volume. The shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout and the different costs per service options are also shown at checkout to be selected before payment (Standard or Express Service).
About Australia wide Deliveries: All our products are shipped from our facilities in NSW, Australia. We use a range of carriers, depending on your location and date of order (mainly Australia Post, Couriers Please and Aramex).
-Australia Post and Aramex make one attempt to deliver the parcel. If you are not at home and the delivery attempt is unsuccessful, then you can pick up the parcel from a collection point (your nearest Post office or Aramex local designated collection point).
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND DELIVERIES:
Apart from Australia, we only ship orders to New Zealand and the United States. International shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout and it depends on weight, volume and destination.
